For Express and Custom connected accounts, when will the 7 day waiting period on the first payout not apply?

If the platform has more than ten charges

If there are no disputes

If the platform has at least one charge

For Express and Custom connected accounts, the initial 7-day waiting period on the first payout is a risk-control measure used when there isn’t much activity yet. If the platform already has activity in the form of at least one charge, Stripe has evidence of legitimate use and can skip that 7-day hold. In that case, the first payout follows the normal payout schedule instead of being delayed for a week. The other factors — such as having more than a few charges, disputes, or whether the customer is verified — don’t by themselves remove the wait; the key condition is simply that there is at least one charge on the platform.
